Can we be friends before you call me your wedding photographer? I can give you all the reasons why I’m a great wedding photographer but what I really want to tell you is that I want to be much more than just another wedding vendor that needs to be checked off your wedding to-do list.

A lot of photographer ‘About Me’ pages will tell you how they were born with a camera in their hands and how amazing it was to capture their life through cool polaroids and instant cameras. That’s just not my story. I had no idea this is what God's plan for my life was when I graduated college with a Psychology degree that focused on family relationships. Psychology taught me my best motto for my business - people first!

I truly believe in giving each of my clients more than just beautiful photographs. I want it to be a joyful experience and process where we also become friends! God has truly blessed me with this gift and ability to capture couples’ “best day ever”. I’m reassured of this every time I leave a wedding day with joyful tears, hugs, and kisses from not only the bride and groom but their sweet mommas and closest friends.

Bringing joyous tears to my couples and their families during their same day slide show is worth more to me than an online review because - people first! I love capturing gorgeous wedding days and the start of what will be a beautiful marriage. I can’t wait to be part of your love story, new friend, and the first cheerleader in your marriage!

a CALIFORNIA WEDDING & PORTrAIT PHOTOGRAPHER BASED IN TEMECULA

MEET Nataly

I was born and raised in the heart of Los Angeles, CA and after marrying my Junior High Sweetheart David, we moved across the country! In that time I traveled around the US documenting love stories for couples and families.

My love for photography began because of David's several combat deployments. We relied on handwritten letters (just like the ones we wrote to each other in Junior High!) and you guessed it, photographs! My passion for photographing love and irreplaceable moments was fueled by his time in the military. In that time I traveled to 9 different states for weddings. One of those states being Alaska where we fell in love with the Kenai peninsula and our first dog's name was born, Kenai. But regardless of where we have traveled and lived, Southern California will always be home.

Love letters, adventures and puppy cuddles bring me joy.

David and I have spent our entire relationship writing handwritten letters to each other. We keep our wedding day letters to one another in our bedroom as a sweet and intimate reminder of our first day of Marriage.

AWARDS &
RECOGNITION

Nataly Hernandez Photography was MFD Photography, short for Memories For Dave Photography the first 7 years. MFD Photography was born from creating memories for David while he was overseas during his 3 combat deployments.

David was gone during some big life moments and I didnt want him to ever feel like he was missing one second of it. “Memories For Dave” was a folder that sat on my desktop that I filled almost daily with photographs I needed to email him or print to include in his next care package. Photographs can bring us joy, strength, courage, and remind us of how loved we are and I wanted to make sure David felt all of those during his deployments.
