Wowza – This Disney Themed Wedding is going to knock your Disney loving socks off! One of my youngest memories as a child is watching The Lion King with my older brother. In fact, as kids, we had matching Lion King blankets and I’m not ashamed to admit that I still have mine. In fact, I’m using it right now ;). I know every word to the classic Disney movie theme songs and as a kid, I even dressed up as a Pocahontas one year! So when Sierra first contacted me and mentioned she was having a Disney Inspired Wedding, complete with disney themed wedding table and decor… Well, I was super giddy! Just call me your new Los Angeles Disney Wedding Photographer y’all because I absoutly LOVED this fairytale wedding!
Sierra and Kyle first met at Disneyland when a group of friends invited them, so technically their first date was at Disneyland. They really hit it off through their love for Disney and eventually started dating spending most of their dates at Disneyland. This eventually lead to Kyle proposing in front of the Disneyland castle. So when it came time to plan their wedding a Disney-themed wedding JUST made sense.
This wedding is unique and definitely different than the types of weddings I typically post. It’s nontraditional in the most romantic and whimsical way.
Sierra spent months putting together each of the centerpieces for their disney themed wedding tables. Each table is a different Disney movie. Kyle was dressed as Robin Hood and their guest were also invited to dress up as their favorite Disney characters. Their bridal party included the Mad Hatter, Alice, Belle, Prince Eric, The beast, and Ariel. Even their venue in Thousand Oaks, CA was perfect for their Disney themed wedding. It was all so perfect and so them!
Sierra and Kyle, I hope I was able to capture your unique and beautiful fairytale wedding day perfectly. Have fun on your honeymoon…. at Disneyland in PARIS!!!
