I first met Devyn when I photographed her sisters wedding in 2020. Her sweet family quickly became a family that I love! I love hanging out with them! When Devyn’s mom reached out for me to photograph her newborn photos I was SO happy to do so! One of the biggest blessings as a wedding photographer, is that I get to watch families grow! As a Los Angeles Family Photographer and Wedding Photographer it really is so special to stay connected with families like this. To get to be part of such special moments in a families life, it’s truly incredibily special. Not to mention, shooting a lifestyle session is actually one of my favorites types of sessions to shoot.
In light of the pandemic, a lifestyle session seemed the most appropriate for this new family. If you don’t know what a lifestyle session is, it’s when you have newborn photos or family photos done in your home. My favorites are newborn, family, and couples/newlyweds. They are more comfortable for the family and the baby! My favorite part of lifestyle sessions is how intimate they can be! They capture your family in such a real way. As a Los Angeles Family Photographer that shoots family sessions often, the norm is an outdoor pretty location… but it doesn’t have to be 😉
