Los Angeles Studio Engagement | Wendy + Sonny

There’s something undeniably romantic about the timeless style, vintage charm, and love that feels like it belongs in a black-and-white film. That’s exactly the energy Wendy and Sonny brought to their Los Angeles studio engagement session, and let me tell you…it was a vibe!

From the moment we walked into the studio, I knew we were about to create something special. The space itself had that perfect blend of natural light and vintage pops. They wanted something modern but with vintage touches for their Los Angeles Studio Engagement and this space was perfect. Just enough vintage character to feel like a scene out of an old Hollywood romance.

They brought a few thoughtful props that fit the theme beautifully! A fun Polaroid camera, a chess board, and a simple white cake that looked like it belonged at an elegant 1950s celebration. They started by snapping Polaroids of each other mid-laugh. The two of them sat across from each other on a velvet couch, laughing over a small cake mishap (that we made the best of… nothing photoshop can’t fix!). The scene felt intimate, cinematic, and completely them.

Wendy and Sonny, I had so much fun capturing all the giggles and intimate moments from your Los Angeles studio engagement session. Can’t wait for big day!

XX!

We wrapped up our session at a vintage bridge with downtown Los Angeles in the background. It was quick, but the perfect wrap up to such a fun session together! This bridge is not too far from the iconic 6th street bridge but ultimately we knew that while the 6th street bridge is iconic, it’s very modern after the recent remodel. This small bridge gave Wendy and Sonny that vintage vibe from the studio. It was perfect!
