When Phillip and Melissa asked if they could have their engagement session at this location I thought to myself, “Finally! A Pirate Beach Engagement Session!”. I’ve always wanted to have a session at this beautiful iconic location but it’s easier said than done. This location isn’t easy to get to and there are quite a few logistical concerns that I usually try and avoid for an engagement session. I explained those factors to Melissa and Phillip and they were all for it.
Melissa and Phillip have had to postpone their wedding due to COVID and their original engagement session date had to be postponed due to rain so I really wanted to make this session magical for them! Even though we had to start our session in full sun, we made it work and we ended up having a lot of fun. We even witnessed a proposal! What a beautiful spot to propose, right?
At the end of the session, Phillip said to me “You know, I was really dreading having to take photos but this was actually a lot of fun – thank you!.” I love knowing that my couples have fun at their engagement session. I try my best to make sure they do while still getting to know them and what’s important to them.
Melissa and Phillip, thank you for trusting me on this adventure! I loved hanging out with you two and getting to know you on a personal level. Your Pirate Beach Engagement was epic, to say the least! I can’t wait for the big day, it will be here before you know it!
