Samantha and Ross are the kind of couple you instantly feel connected to. Their love feels effortless. Their energy together is calm and joyful. For their Beverly Hills engagement session, we chose some of the area’s most iconic spots.
We started part of their session at The Beverly Hills Hotel. With its classic pink walls and rich history, it gave us those timeless, Old Hollywood vibes. Sam and Ross really wanted a location that was iconic but would still provide us with beautiful greenery. The Beverly was the perfect location for that.
Afterward, we headed to a nearby palm tree-lined street right before sunset. This is one of those signature Beverly Hills views. Golden light streamed through the trees as they danced in the street, totally in their own world. No posing needed, just a little bit of guidence. They were just themselves and I loved every second of it!
What I loved most was how natural everything felt. No forced smiles. No awkwardness. Just a couple fully in the moment, soaking up this season of their lives. When I start an engagement session I always walk my couples through a few pointers. One of the things I tell all my couples is that even if I pose you, feel free to interact with each other. It will make your images feel more natural and relaxed. Sam and Ross’s engagement session was a perfect example of what that can look like!
