Larissa and Théo’s wedding at Calamigos Ranch was such a fun one to be a part of. The day had this beautiful coastal feel, with shades of blue throughout the bridesmaids’ dresses and details, while the reception brought in touches of green that made everything feel a little more organic and natural.
And honestly, Larissa and Théo are just so much fun! They have the kind of energy that makes photographing them incredibly easy because they are completely themselves.
The Pavilion at Calamigos Ranch was the perfect setting. The blue and green color palette worked so well with the natural surroundings and gave the reception a really beautiful coastal, organic feel. Every detail felt thoughtful without taking away from the fun of the day.
One of my favorite parts of the reception was getting to sneak away with Larissa’s Contax film camera and shoot a little 35mm myself. As someone who loves film, I obviously had to take advantage of the opportunity! There’s something extra special about photographing a wedding on film, and even more so when the camera belongs to the bride.
From their portraits to the reception, Larissa and Théo’s day was filled with the kind of moments I love most: lots of movement, lots of laughter, and two people who were genuinely having the best time together.
