A Watercolor Garden Dream at Carmel Fields | Emily + Thomas

Some weddings feel like a fairytale and this one at Carmel Fields by Wedgewood Weddings was pure magic! Emily and Thomas had a deeply personal day surrounded by their closest friends and family.

From the moment I arrived, it was clear that every detail of this wedding was intentionally crafted, and deeply personal. Inspired by garden romance, watercolor art, and wildflowers, the entire day felt like walking into a delicate painting, and for good reason: the bride painted all the watercolor pieces herself.

The day began with an emotional and intimate first look. In a quiet moment tucked away under the trees, the Emily and Thomas saw each other for the first time, tears flowing freely as they exchanged private vows. It was raw, intimate, and incredibly moving! The kind of moment that reminds me why I love what I do.

Thomas wore a rich green suit that blended effortlessly with the natural surroundings. Emily looked like she stepped out of a garden dream. Her airy floral gown flowed with every step, soft and romantic, perfectly echoing the wildflower theme.

We ran with the watercolor and wildflower vibe for their detail photos. Soft pastels, hand-painted touches by the bride, and personal details like her grandmothers ring dish. Everything felt effortless, personal and them.

Carmel Fields provided the perfect backdrop: lush greenery, ocean air, and the kind of golden light that makes everything glow. Guests were surrounded by color, love, and so many personal touches by the bride and groom. They were even invited to participate in a painting during cocktail hour!

Emily and Thomas, thank you for allowing me to be part of such a special and personal wedding day at Carmel Fields. Every single click of my shutter button left me in awe of your wedding day. It was stunning but yet so personal.

XO!
