Amir and Maryam’s Bay Area wedding was in a word… breathtaking! Set in the heart of the Bay Area, their day was a beautiful blend of timeless elegance and rich Persian tradition filled with love, laughter, and so many unforgettable details.
From the moment the day began, you could feel how thoughtfully everything had been planned. Amir looked classic and sharp in a white tuxedo jacket with black pants. Modern and refined, yet effortlessly timeless. Maryam stunned in a long-sleeved gown with an attached skirt that added the perfect touch of drama and grace. Her entire look was regal, romantic, and uniquely her!
One of the most meaningful parts of the day was the Sofreh Aghd. A traditional Persian wedding spread that is both symbolic and stunning. Their Sofreh Aghd was covered in lush florals, ornate apples, decorative nuts, mirrors, and candles. Every item had purpose and meaning, honoring Persian heritage while celebrating their new beginning together. It was impossible not to pause and just admire how beautiful it was.
After their vows, the energy shifted into full celebration mode during the reception. Their reception kicked off with lively open dancing that set the mood for the rest of the night! And in true Persian fashion, we ended our time with the much loved knife dance. The dance is a playful tradition where the cake knife is passed between guests in exchange for dances (and sometimes a little cash!) before the bride and groom can cut the cake. It was the perfect mix of fun, laughter, and cultural tradition to wrap up an unforgettable day.
