San Francisco City Hall Wedding | Tia + Travon

There’s something undeniably magical about San Francisco City Hall. Its grand architecture, sweeping staircases, and soft natural light already set the stage for an unforgettable ceremony. But when you get to experience it completely empty on a quiet weekend afternoon, it becomes something else entirely. An intimate, timeless, and cinematic San Francisco City Hall Wedding.

Tia and Travon chose to say “I do” inside the iconic walls of City Hall on a Saturday, which meant they had the entire courthouse to themselves. No tourists, no crowds. Just the two of them, their closest people, and a love story unfolding in peaceful, uninterrupted stillness.

The couple leaned into a modern black and white color palette that felt both sophisticated and bold. Tia wore a sleek, structured gown that complemented the venue’s classic marble tones perfectly. Travon looked effortlessly sharp in a black and white tux with crisp, tailored details. Together, they were a vision! Chic, elegant, and completely in sync.

Every detail was a reflection of their style: minimal, striking, and full of intention. With the stillness of the courthouse surrounding them, we were able to slow down and truly soak in each moment. From quiet portraits under the rotunda to their vows echoing softly under the dome, it was a rare kind of peaceful beauty that City Hall doesn’t always offer and it suited Tia and Travon so well!

After the ceremony, we wandered through every corner of the building, taking full advantage of the uninterrupted light and space. The symmetry, the grandeur, and their undeniable connection made every frame feel like a scene from a classic film.

Tia and Travon, thank you for trusting me to document such a sacred, serene, and stylish chapter of your love story. Your day was proof that courthouse weddings can be just as luxurious, intentional, and unforgettable as any grand celebration.

XO!

If you’re dreaming of an intimate, editorial-style day with timeless photos and a touch of modern luxury especially on a weekend when City Hall feels like your own private venue… I’d love to help bring that vision to life. Let’s connect and start planning something beautiful.

If you’re envisioning a more private experience at San Francisco City Hall, consider booking your ceremony in the afternoon or on a weekend. While weekday ceremonies are often shared with other couples and visitors, renting the space during off-hours allows for a far more intimate and serene atmosphere. The building offers event rentals for afternoons, evenings, and weekends, giving you exclusive access to the iconic staircase, rotunda, and surrounding architecture without the usual crowds. It’s a beautiful way to make the space feel entirely your own, just like Tia and Travon did.
