Saul and Annie’s beach engagement session was one for the books! We had clear skies, clouds, a golden sunset for two minutes, and then blue hour. It was a world wind of lighting situations but so EPIC! They chose to have their engagement session at Laguna Beach. Saul proposed to Annie last year at their favorite little spot in Laguna Beach, so it just seemed fitting!
Some of you might recognize Annie from my stories, or if you’re a past wedding couple you might have seen her on your wedding day as my assistant! I think Saul knew when he proposed he totally had to have it documented. After all, Annie herself is pursuing a career in photography!
When Saul proposed to Annie, he reached out to me to ask if I would photograph their proposal, and of course I was so excited to do that for them. Their beach engagement session just seemed to make the whole journey come full circle.
I asked Annie to tell me about the moment she knew Saul was *THE* one and she said this… “I knew Saul was different from the moment we met, he felt like home. Like God made him just for me. What really made me know, was when I realized that he recognizes, appreciates and HONORS who I am to my core.”
When I asked Saul the same question, this was his response… “There is honestly a lot that I can answer that question with. To single it down to one moment that told me everything was a night after we went out for a date. We were simply talking and opening up about ourselves. As I was talking I looked at her and her eyes told me everything. I could see the love she had for me already. A look I’ve never seen in others, but have only heard of. In that moment I knew she was the one for me. Her eyes said “I love you” before we actually said it out loud to each other.”
Annie and Saul, capturing your beach engagement session was truly an honor for me. I loved every second of capturing the love you two have for one another. It was was so easy to capture you two together – your love for one another is natural, real, and sweet to see blossom!
