So excited to be sharing Ana and Bryan’s DTLA engagement session, the perfect way to kick off the new year. We explored Downtown Los Angeles, beginning near the Million Dollar Theater, moving through Angel’s Flight, and ending in a lush green park as a nod to their love for traveling and exploring national parks.
The first portion of the session focused on the historic architecture and street textures surrounding the theater. The vintage marquee and movement of the city created a timeless backdrop while keeping the session relaxed and natural.
Angel’s Flight added a classic DTLA element to the gallery. The steep incline, bold railcars, and city views provided strong visual structure while still allowing space for simple, unposed moments. The location felt iconic without taking focus away from Ana and Bryan.
The final portion of the session took place in a nearby green space, offering a clear contrast to the urban environment. The greenery brought balance to the gallery and reflected the environments Ana and Bryan are drawn to when they travel together. The result is an engagement session that blends historic city elements with nature in the best way.
I can’t wait for their wedding later this year and am so excited to welcome 2026 with this iconic session and for what the year has to bring.
