There’s just something about engagement sessions in Los Angeles that feel a little extra magical, and Joyce and Patrick’s session at Griffith Observatory absolutely delivered. Between the iconic views, dreamy architecture, and golden sunset light, it was the perfect location for these two.
Now if you’ve ever been to Griffith Observatory around sunset… you already know it gets BUSY. We definitely had to navigate crowds, wait for little openings, and get creative with angles throughout the evening. But honestly? So worth it. Some locations are popular for a reason, and Griffith will always be one of those spots that photographs beautifully no matter what. Nothing a little photoshop couldn’t fix!
One of my favorite things about this session was how Joyce and Patrick stayed completely present with each other through all the chaos happening around us. They laughed through it all, trusted the process, and fully embraced the experience together. Those are always the sessions that turn out the most meaningful.
