Carla and Martin wanted to have an engagement session with meaning, and having A Disneyland Engagement Session was just that for them. One of their first dates and early years of dating revolved around dates at Disneyland. They now frequent the park together and earlier this year, Martin proposed to Carla at the park.
I have photographed several engagement sessions at Disneyland but this one was so fun! Carla and Martin’s engagement session at Disneyland had the prettiest light. Not only did we have great lighting but the cast members at the train station were total rockstars! The train station was closed for a few hours due to repairs. We asked permission to use the area for photos and they were SO happy to allow that. It was so kind of them and it made for gorgeous photos!
My best tip for shooting A Disneyland Engagement is to be respectful of the park and the park rules. When you are, the cast members are more than happy to create a magical experience for you!
Martin and Carla, thank you SO much for allowing me to capture such sweet moments for you two on the happiest place on earth! I can’t wait for your big day!
XO!
If you LOVED this Disneyland Engagement and would love to chat about me capturing your engagement and wedding day I would love to chat about that! All weddings booked include a complimentary engagement session!
When it comes to planning an Engagement session at Disneyland, there are a few things to take into consideration:
- Schedule it for a weekday (Monday – Thursday’s are best).
- First thing in the morning helps avoid some of the larger crowds you get in the afternoon.
- You have to embrace the crowds, and having people in your photos will be inevitable.
- Be respectful of the park rules.
- Don’t forget to factor in the cost of your admission tickets + your photographers.
