If you’re in the Southern California area or have been following the news at all the last few weeks then you know it has been raining non-stop! In fact, there were a couple of days when all the roads that lead to our home were closed! It’s been crazy nonetheless! An EPIC engagement session at Claremont Colleges is just what we needed!
All this rain means there has been a lot of rescheduling going around. Sara and Keith’s engagement session is one of the sessions we had to push back. We rescheduled to one of the only clear days that the forecast showed for the next few weeks! Well, the day came and sure enough, it was a bright sunny day at Claremont Colleges. It was pure relief… until about an hour before their session when a DARK massive rain cloud appears. The forecast however said there was still no chance of rain. Yup, they were wrong. I’m driving to the engagement session and it starts downright pouring! Thankfully where we met for our session it wasn’t raining and it was past the crazy big dreary rain cloud. What a relief!
Looking through their Claremont Colleges engagement session you would have never known the type of weather we have been dealing with. The clouds literally cleared again for about two and half hours right at sunset when we started our session. It was pure magic! It was freezing out but the light was great considering how dark it had just been. Sara and Keith were troopers in the cold frigid weather and it was SO worth it! I can’t wait for their wedding later this year!
