There’s something undeniably magical about Pasadena City Hall. Its timeless architecture, grand arches, and European inspired charm make it one of Southern California’s most romantic backdrops for an engagement session. When I met up with Chelsea and Paul on an overcast afternoon, I knew we were in for something special. The soft light only added to the ethereal feel of the day.
Chelsea wore a stunning white dress adorned with the prettiest floral details at the collar. It was effortlessly elegant, the perfect blend of modern but classic. Paul looked sharp and timeless in a black suit. The kind of outfit that never goes out of style and pairs so well with the clean lines and neutral tones of Pasadena City Hall.
Though the sky was mostly overcast, patches of sunlight peeked through at just the right moments! It created gentle highlights on the building’s pillars, and creating the kind of golden pockets of warmth that photographers dream about.
From quiet moments under the arches to joyful spins in the courtyard, every frame felt like a glimpse into something honest and enduring. You can tell just by the way they look at each other that this is a love built on both friendship.
