You guys… everything about this sailboat engagement session was EPIC! Everything except Robert getting slightly seasick, of course. I think he would agree that it was worth it though! We had nearly perfect conditions out on the water and no one fell overboard, all in all, a perfect day 😉
Jessica and Robert are getting married in Santa Barbara next year, and a sailboat engagement session just seemed perfect for the occasion!
I met Jessica and Robert when I photographed Jessica’s brother’s wedding earlier this year. Their family is just the sweetest, and it makes me so excited to be part of another family wedding!
Their sailboat engagement session was one for the books! I have photographed several weddings on yachts, but this was a first for an engagement session. We had four different types of lighting… all beautiful in their own way! That’s the beauty of shooting on the water though. As the sun sets, you truly are able to capture all the different phases of the sunset.
Robert and Jessica, thank you *so* much for allowing me to be part of this time in your lives! I can’t wait for your coastal wedding day, it’s going to be a dream!
