We had absolutely stunning light and full access to the grounds for this garden engagement shoot. It was perfection!!!!

Zion and Karenza were originally supposed to have their engagement session at the Santa Rosa Plateau. Unfortunately, the Santa Rosa Plateau area burned a few weeks before when we had scheduled our session for. Thankfully Zion and Karenza were great about it and were willing to try a new location with me! I’m so excited they did because it turned out to be amazing! I love that my couples trust me when I suggest new locations. Especially when I’ve never actually used the spot so I can’t show them examples of it but they trust me anyway! I love this new season of business I am in. I’m choosing to only work with couples who I feel are a good fit with me and me with them. It’s so important to me to be able to connect with my couples on a deeper level than just their photos.

I loved hearing how they met and how Zion proposed. Zion explains it as “I liked her from the moment I saw her…” it was the sweetest thing if you ask me! When he proposed he had this big to do it at a big park in San Diego that overlooked the entire city at sunset. Things changed and the plans were canceled so Zion improvised and set up candles and the whole nine yards at Karenza’s apartment and proposed right there and then. I thought it was so sweet that he just couldn’t wait any longer to ask and decided to do it anyway, even after their plans changed. 

I can’t wait for this sweet couple to tie the knot next April! Their Garden Temecula Engagement Session was perfection just like I’m sure their wedding day will be!
