Betty and Andrew’s Beach Engagement Session was an interesting one! I don’t think I’ve ever had the lighting change so much during one engagement session. It’s not something that is unheard of when you’re by the coast but it sure did make for an interesting session.
When we started shooting, there were a few clouds, and it quickly became full coverage and dark skies. About thirty minutes into our session, the sun peaked through the clouds creating a really cool effect! We were even able to capture the effect in some of their photos. We decided to end our session at the beach, only down the road from where we started. When we arrived at the beach, we had cotton candy skies, and just like that, the sun started coming through the clouds, and minutes later there were no clouds.
It’s been a while since I’ve been able to capture such a stunning sunset with so much color! We embraced it and had so much fun together!
Andrew and Betty’s early dates consisted of many outdoor dates since they started dating at the beginning of the pandemic. When it came to choosing a location for their session, they decided they wanted to capture that part of their story. We started at a local Palos Verdes trail and ended it with a Beach Engagement session.
Betty and Andrew, thank you SO much for allowing me to be part of your story! I can’t wait for your wedding in Topanga, CA!
